The photograph's dream

Arms and eyes wide open, I can't stop gazing at the horizon. My heart beats with the flow of hope
I'll wait from dawn to dawn

As the photographer, I beseech the sun to grant me sweet light for my chef-d'œuvre
My shutter clicks, capturing daylong moments
I'll wait for my sunset

My insides burn coldly, unable to live fully
But as her light illuminates cities in Europe
I'll capture every smile, moment to moment

As the photographer, I plead with the sun to grant me a day with my lovely subject.
My lens receives lifelong attention
I'll wait for my sunset.
